The use of Crucible Free Swelling Number Tester

1. instrument front panel (see instrument)

The instrument display is divided into three sections, each with three digit tubes. The left section shows the pre-rise temperature (i.e., furnace temperature), the middle section shows the time, and the right section shows experimental temperature (i.e., crucible temperature).

The "Start" key is pressed each time you power on to start the program from scratch.

"Mute" key is to press it to cancel the sound when the alarm situation, and at the same time, press twice continuously during normal operation, you can query, at this time the left section will display the selected pre-rise temperature value, the middle section displays the voltage opening at this time (with 220V as 100%), and the right section displays the heating rate per minute at that time.

The "Firing" key is put into the crucible and covered with the soil cover, according to which it will be timed again from zero seconds to calculate the test time.

The "Modify", "▲"," ","OK" keys are used to set the required pre-rise temperature. When running, press the "Modify" key to enter the programming state, press "▲" to change the number of the flashing bit, press " " to change the position of the flashing bit, when the number displayed is consistent with the required pre-rise temperature, press" OK "to confirm, and then press" Modify"to exit the programming state.

2. Instrument rear panel (see Instrument)

The two terminals connected to the power supply are connected to 220V AC power supply, the two terminals connected to the electric furnace are connected to the heating electric furnace wire of the furnace, and the ground terminal is connected to the ground wire of the laboratory. Two groups of thermocouple terminals, K group is connected to the temperature control couple (that is, the furnace temperature, below), and C group is connected to the thermocouple at the bottom of the crucible (above) during the test.

3. Test procedure

(1) AC 220V power supply is used after normal wiring, and the instrument enters the normal display and heating state after an internal inspection of about 30S.

(2) If the correct pre-rise temperature value is not selected, the selected pre-rise temperature value is compiled by using the "Modify", "▲", " " "and "OK" keys.

Please note that after repeated tests of the furnace body, the temperature at the bottom of the quartz dish is about 100℃ different from the temperature in the electric furnace on the surface of the quartz dish, so the selected value of the pre-rise temperature is about 930℃.

(3) Heating to the selected pre-rise temperature value, when the pre-rise temperature value is reached, the alarm will be notified to the operator, you can press the "Mute" key to silence the sound, or wait for 10S to automatically silence the sound.

(4) Constant temperature for about 10min, put into the empty crucible (adjust the temperature value to rise) or coal sample, cover the earth cover, press the "Firing" key, automatically reset the time from zero.

(5) The test to 2min30s will alarm, can be manually muffled or wait for 10s automatic muffled. When the time reaches 3min, it will automatically turn into the heating state or constant temperature state (if the temperature has reached the required value of the pre-rising temperature). Please note that the end of the time display changes from seconds to minutes.

(6) If the temperature does not meet the requirements during the short crucible test, it is necessary to re-select the temperature modification and re-test from (2).
